AAPPS-DPP Annual conferences

AAPPS-DPP held 1st Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics during 18-23, September 2017 in Chengdu, China successfully.
The 2nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2018 in short) was held during 12-17, November 2018 in Kanazaw, Japan.
The 3rd Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2019) was held during 4-8,November 2019 in Hefei, China.
The 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2020) was held during 26-31, October 2020 as e-conference because of COVID-19.
The 5th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physicsa (AAPPS-DPP2021) was held during 26 September-October 2021 as e-conference.
The 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2022) was held during 9-14, October 2022 as e-conference.
The 7th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2023) was held during 12-17, November 2023 in Nagoya, Japan as in-person conference.
The 8th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2024) was held during 3-8, November 2024 in Malacca, Malaysia as in-person conference.
The 9th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2025) was held during 21-26, September 2025 in Fukuoka, Japan as in-person conference.

These conferences are annual plasma physics conference in Asia-Pacific region, similar to the APS-DPP and EPS-DPP conferences on plasma physics.

Prize and Awards

2026 S. Chandrasekhar Prize, Innovation Prize, AAPPS-DPP Young Researcher Award (U40), Kunioki Mima U30 Scientist and Student Award, and AAPPS-DPP 2026 Poster Prize will be selected similar to previous year.
