Chair, Local Organizing Committee, AAPPS-DPP2025

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 9th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP2025), which will be held in person in the vibrant city of Fukuoka, Japan, from September 21 to 26, 2025.

AAPPS-DPP has grown into a premier platform for researchers, educators, and students across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to share the latest advancements in plasma physics.

This year, we are excited to have an in-person format, offering a valuable opportunity for face-to-face discussions, networking, and collaboration.

Fukuoka, known for its rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and excellent cuisine, provides an ideal setting for scientific exchange and community building. The conference venue is conveniently located and well-equipped to support a dynamic and engaging program, including plenary talks, invited sessions, contributed presentations, and poster sessions.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating environment for all participants. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or a young scientist, we believe AAPPS-DPP2025 will offer meaningful experiences and foster new ideas and partnerships.

We look forward to welcoming you to Fukuoka and to an exciting week of science, dialogue, and discovery.
