Greetings

Chair Board of Directors, AAPPS-DPP
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Division of Plasma Physics, Association of Asia
Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS-DPP), it is my great pleasure to welcome all participants
to AAPPS-DPP 2025, to be held in Fukuoka, Japan, in September 2025.
AAPPS-DPP continues to serve as the biggest and most popular platform in the Asia-Pacific region
for the exchange of cutting-edge research in plasma physics and its diverse applications.
The 2025 conference reflects this mission with a comprehensive scientific program that spans a wide
spectrum of topics — from fundamental plasma and fusion science, to astrophysical and space plasmas,
low-temperature plasmas, laser-plasma interactions, and industrial applications of plasmas.
We are excited to bring together leading academics and scientists, young researchers, and students
from around the world to engage in vibrant discussions, share breakthrough findings, and forge
new collaborations. This year’s program has been carefully curated to ensure a rich blend of plenary
and invited talks, contributed presentations, poster sessions, and special symposia and sessions,
representing the dynamic growth and diversity of plasma science in our region and beyond.
Fukuoka, with its blend of tradition and innovation, provides the perfect setting for intellectual
exchange and cultural enrichment. We look forward to welcoming you to a stimulating and memorable
conference experience.
Warm regards,
Chair Board of Directors, AAPPS-DPP
